Trento, March 23rd 2017
After the five set played on Wednesday afternoon in Verona, Diatec Trentino is back to work in this afternoon at PalaTrento to continue to prepare game 2 of the semifinal of Championship UnipolSai 2017 Play Off. The technical staff directed a three-hour training, divided in a part in the gym and another on the central court.
On Friday morning there will be last training before the leaving for Umbria, where Trentino Volley will try to win at PalaEvangelisti, where the last victory was on October 26th 2014 (come back victory at tie break, from 0-2 to 3-2, with Kaziyski MVP) and lost the last three matches, also the most recent – played on January 15th 2017 in regular season. The match of the 25th March (6 p.m., live on RAI Sport + HD and Radio Dolomiti) will be a special moment for Massimo Colaci, who will reach on this occasion 335 attendances with the Club in via Trener, becoming the third player ever for the most number of matches with the yellow-blue shirt. The Apulian libero will top Matey Kaziyski (stopped at 334 until April 2016) and will try to overcome also Emanuele Birarelli (345 matches) and Andrea Bari (339). Accidentally he will find both on the other side of the net on that occasion.
At PalaEvangelisti on Saturday there will play the three players with most attendance with Trentino Volley; Colaci has already a record: none before him was able to get to 330 matches in only seven years. Max played 51 matches in the season 2010/11, 49 in the season 2011/12, 48 in the season 2012/13, 47 in the season 2013/14, 48 in the season 2014/15, 47 in the season 2015/16 and 44 in this one, winning overall eleven trophies: 3 Club World Championship (2010, 2011, 2012), 1 Champions League (2011), 3 Championships (2011, 2013, 2015), 2 Supercoppe (2011, 2013), 2 Coppe Italia (2012, 2013). There is already an important place in the history of the Club for him, independently from the results of this year.
